Description
These scatter cushions represent the very first piece of fabric woven on my new British-made Bonas-Griffith pedal loom. They are made from a mix of British wools, including Hebridean, Bluefaced Leicester and Shetland.
The cushions are each one-off non-repeatable designs — I didn’t keep any notes, I just experimented to see what would happen!
Currently, I have two cushions with vertical stripes, one 16″ and one 18″, plus two cushions with horizontal stripes, both 16″ square. The photos show both front and back of each cushion. Please indicate in the comments section of the order form which horizontal stripe you would like (A or B):
Horizontal Stripes:
A – front – orange/red with brown
A – reverse – orange and deep purple
B – reverse – orange
B – front – deep purple, red, moss green
Vertical Stripes:
18″ cushion (same pattern on reverse)
16″ cushion (same pattern on reverse)
Each cushion is finished with a zip and includes a British-wool-filled cushion pad supplied by Woolsoft.
Good to know:
- Handwoven 100% wool fabric
- Size: approximately 16″ square (40cm) or 18″ square (45cm)
- Care: The cushion covers can be removed for washing and are machine washable at 30C in a gentle wool cycle. A warm iron will remove any creases.
