With a mountain in its name, this is a suitably hard-wearing tweed. The subtle herringbone weave gives this cloth a traditional feel. It has been handwoven by Ali Sharman using a black welsh mountain yarn supplemented with colourful highlights in both warp and weft. You can purchase a checked piece or a striped piece.
There are just a few metres of each pattern available. This fabric is priced by the half-metre to reflect the tremendous amount of work that has gone into weaving it by hand on a traditional wooden handloom.
