I continue to create bespoke handwoven items on my trusty Harrisville 8-shaft floor loom, working with a variety of materials including my own British wool yarns plus soft lambswools sourced in Scotland, silks from Switzerland and a range of ‘mill ends’ and handspun beauties that I can’t resist purchasing when I walk by them!
This section of my shop only appears when I have something new to put in it. Here you will find a selection of individually designed and handwoven pieces, usually scarves, sometimes throws, and very occasionally items for the table.
I also weave to commission, working with clients to produce a piece of fabric unique to them. I’m currently working on a length of bespoke tweed and a baby blanket woven with the client’s own yarn. You can read here about how I designed and wove a unique throw based on the colours of a cat’s eye.
