I continue to create bespoke handwoven items as time allows, working with a variety of materials including my own British wool yarns plus soft lambswools sourced in Scotland, silks from Switzerland and a range of ‘mill ends’ and handspun beauties that I can’t resist purchasing when I walk by them!
I also weave to commission, working with clients to produce a piece of fabric unique to them. You can read here about how I designed and wove a unique throw based on the colours of a cat’s eye. I’m currently working on a length of bespoke tweed, a baby blanket woven with the client’s own yarn, and a double-width blanket.
If you have an idea you would like to explore get in touch. My initial consultation costs nothing but time. If we get to the sampling stage I charge a small non-refundable fee (plus cost of materials). The sampling fee is deducted from the final cost of a fully finished piece.
