Making a Purchase

Laura's Loom online shop sells unique handwoven items as well as the exclusive limited edition Howgill Range.  The nature of handwoven goods is that they take time to make and sometimes there's only one!  Every handwoven item is made by Laura Rosenzweig.  All Howgill Range products are designed by Laura but woven by small mills within the Yorkshire, Cumbria and Scottish Borders region. 

Handwoven items are added to the shop as they become available.  If a handwoven item has been sold but is available to order this will be clearly indicated.

To purchase an item click on the ‘Add to Basket' button.  When you are ready to pay for your purchase click on the ‘Checkout' button and you will be directed to fill in an order form which will enable us to process your order.

We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Solo and Electron.  Prices are indicated in British pounds sterling but we can accept payments from all over the world.   All payments are processed in a secure environment.   Alternatively you may contact us via mail, e-mail or telephone to place your order and we will advise on availability and payment details.

We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship.  

You will receive a confirmation e-mail to indicate that your order has been received.

You will receive a further e-mail when your order has been shipped. 

The price charged is the price published on our website at the time you made your order.    

 

Shipping and Handling

Shipping and handling costs for UK, Europe and the Rest of the World are indicated at the point of purchase.  We endeavour to find the best possible way to deliver your items safely into your hands. 

 

Delivery Schedule

If an item is in stock it will normally be despatched within 7 days.  For items not in stock but available to order delivery will be advised and you have the option to accept or cancel your order. 

 

Credit Card Security

When the order is placed through our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are stored on an external secure server that is tested for security on a daily basis. Once we have processed your order your card details are deleted from the server for added security.

 

Refund/Exchange

Laura's Loom guarantees quality and your satisfaction.  If you are unhappy with your purchase you may return it within 14 days for a full refund.  Items must be securely wrapped and must remain in their original packaging with all labels still attached.  Returned items received after this period may be exchanged for an item of equal value but will not be refunded. 

Special orders or commissioned items may be exchanged but not refunded. 

Refunds will be made to the credit/debit card used for the original purchase.  You will be required to provide your credit/debit card details again as these details are deleted from our secure server once the initial transaction has been processed. 

If initial payment was made by cheque a refund will also be made by cheque.

 

Privacy Policy

Laura's Loom does not disclose any information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to 'block cookies'. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders with us.
