Laura’s Loom sells unique handwoven items as well as exclusive limited edition throws and scarves woven from 100% British wool. All handwoven items are designed and woven by me, Laura Rosenzweig. I do not copy others’ designs. Each item I produce is my own original design.
Commissioned pieces may be based on a previous design but will rarely be identical due to differences in yarn, colour batches, and the uniqueness of a handmade product.
My 100% British wool products are all woven exclusively from wools sourced within the British Isles, much of it from within the Yorkshire Dales and Cumbria. I source my British wools directly from the farm gate and due to the nature of natural substances there will be variations from year to year but I strive to maintain the highest quality of final product. Scouring and spinning is carried out within Yorkshire. Weaving and finishing is carried out within the Scottish Borders. All of these products are designed by me.
All the images and descriptions of my products are intended to give a representation of the products in that range. Slight variations will occur. Please contact me if you would like further information about any item.

Making a Purchase
Laura’s Loom accepts all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Solo and Electron. We can also accept payments via Paypal. Prices are indicated in British pounds sterling.
Alternatively you may contact us via mail, e-mail or telephone to place your order and we will advise on availability of products and alternative payment options.
Your credit card is charged only when your order is ready to ship. If there is a problem in processing your order we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss the situation.
You will receive a confirmation e-mail to indicate that your order has been received.
The price charged is the price published on our website at the time you made your order.
Laura’s Loom reserves the right to alter prices.
Laura’s Loom does not charge VAT.
Credit Card Security
All payments are processed in a secure third-party environment which has PCI:DSS Level 1 compliance rating.
When the order is placed through our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are stored on an external secure server that is tested for security on a daily basis. Once we have processed your order your card details are deleted from the server for added security.
Laura’s Loom website is also tested annually for PCI:DSS compliance.
Shipping and Handling
Shipping and handling charges are indicated at the point of purchase. We endeavour to find the best possible way to deliver your items safely and quickly.
Orders for UK destinations are usually shipped via Royal Mail or Parcel Force. All parcels are insured to the point of delivery. You can choose to have your order delivered to a separate address from your billing address.
We must be informed of any items lost in transit within 10 days in order to submit a compensation claim.
If incorrect goods are received you must notify us within 3 days of receiving the goods. We will refund postage on incorrect or faulty items.
All items sent outside the UK are shipped via international tracked airmail.
All items shipped outside of the UK are delivered duty unpaid unless prior arrangements have been made directly with Laura Rosenzweig. Unless otherwise arranged, the recipient is responsible for paying any customs charges or other duties incurred in purchasing an item from the UK for delivery outside the UK.
If an item is in stock it will normally be dispatched within 2-5 working days. For items not in stock but available to order delivery will be advised and you have the option to accept or cancel your order.
Laura’s Loom guarantees quality and your satisfaction. Our goods are woven from natural materials which may contain slight natural defects or variations in colour. However, if you are unhappy with your purchase you may return it within 14 days of invoice date (30 days for international orders) for a full refund (excluding shipping and handling costs). You must notify Laura’s Loom that you are returning your goods.
The customer is responsible for paying shipping and handling to return goods which are being returned without fault or damage.
We recommend that items be returned by Royal Mail recorded or insured delivery to ensure delivery or enable tracking of a parcel should it be lost in transit. Should items get damaged or be lost en route compensation must be claimed by the customer from Royal Mail.
We will not refund items returned after 14 days of invoice date (30 days for international orders) but we will offer an exchange for another item (or items) of equal value.
Returned items must be securely wrapped and must remain in their original unused condition with original packaging and all labels still attached.
Special orders, special delivery charges, gift packaging costs and commissioned items are non-refundable. Special orders and commissioned items cannot be exchanged unless a written agreement has been made in advance between the customer and Laura’s Loom.
Refunds will be made to the credit/debit card used for the original purchase.
If initial payment was made by cheque a refund will also be made by cheque.
Laura’s Loom does not disclose any customer information to third parties. Your credit card details are stored for a limited time only on our secure payment system which is PCI:DSS Level 1 compliant.
Your email details will only be stored by Laura’s Loom if you have opted in to receiving our occasional newsletter. These details will not be shared with any other party.
Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart. You can turn off cookies within your browser however If you do turn them off, you will be unable to place orders with us.
