My public studio and shop display have re-located to an old woollen mill now restored as an Arts, Crafts & Heritage Centre. From June 2017 you will find me working away at my Harrisville loom in Studio 2A at Farfield Mill, located on the outskirts of Sedbergh, about 1 mile from the centre of town.
Farfield is a hub of art and craft activity, with over a dozen studio spaces where you can watch the artists at work and chat to them about their creations. There are also heritage displays, working power looms, have-a-go areas, a rolling programme of exhibitions and workshops throughout the year, and a cafe.
The mill is open year-round, from 10:30am to 4pm. I will not necessarily be in my studio every day but you can still visit, look around, see what I am currently working on, and browse our standard products and one-off pieces. If you’re making a special journey and would like to meet me please call ahead or email the night before to double check that I will be available. I am always happy to open up the studio with prior notice.
