I enjoy weaving with fine silks and merino wool to create scarves which have a beautiful drape. I like to experiment with texture through pleating and using yarns which shrink (such as wool) together with yarns that don't (such as silk). Doubleweave is of particular interest at the moment. I weave scarves to commission (prices start at £85.00)

Strong twills combine with both bold and subtle colour ranges to produce scarves which are equally suited to men and women and look just as elegant with a suit and tie as with more casual attire. Woven with a combination of tussah silk and merino wool or 100% silk.
Combining two layers into one to create pattern and texture is magical. These soft cuddly scarves and wraps, woven from tussah silk and merino or lambswool, are incredibly warm and tactile.
Continuing on from last year's themes of plants and weather patterns in the Dales I am exploring different materials in these scarves, such as cashmere, to create warmth but retain elegance.
