penguins
With their strong colours of black, white, grey and orange, Penguin bookcovers are recognisable all over the world. Green, blue and purplecovers also exist and will be showing up in my work later in the year. Woven from fine tussah silks and merino wools these are classic scarves which make a bold statement and suit both men and women.

stonewalls
This is a recurring theme in my work and this year finds its way into soft doubleweave scarves woven from tussah silks and merino wools. Colours are based on the stones themselves and the many lichens and mosses which clothe the stones.

pleats
A new direction for my silk weaving using ultrafine silks alongside tussah silks to create gently pleated scarves whose texture is inspired by tree bark. I am developing a range of colours to suit both men and women as well as experimenting with twisted pleats.
